 Finished my first bird watercolor for online class by Sarah Stokes.

Cherry Blossom Sympathy

My first attempt at watercoloring a cherry blossom branch. I made it into a 5" x 7" sympathy card.

Learning to Watercolor

I'm taking an online watercolor class. I'm working on tones right now. I started with charcoal pencil drawing and then a watercolor of a tiny bird.

 

Butterfly Mask

 Used one of the backgrounds I created by pulling a string covered in acrylic paint through 2 pieces of paper. 

Day 7 Fairy Fantasyland

 I think I'm done with my fairy watercolor. Any way, I decided to frame it with layers of color and start something new.

Day 6 of 11-Day Color Challenge

 I added some sequins and more shadows today.

Day 5 of 11 Day Challenge

I added 3 fairies to my fantasy land today, along with some shadows and details.

I stamped the fairies with VersaMark ink and heat embossed using black embossing powder.

Day 4 of the 11 Day Coloring Challenge

I'm still playing with my watercolors! I added some glittery watercolor today! Taking my time as I really have no plan in mind...just going with the flow...no pun intended.

Day 3 - 11 Day Coloring Challenge

Didn't have much time on Friday, so only added a bit of red for Day 3. Still not sure where this is going. 

Day 2 of 11-Day Coloring Challenge

This is Day 2 of the 11-Day Coloring Challenge by Kathyrac from #thedailymarker30day challenges. I added purple watercolor today. My goal is to paint at least 10 minutes each day of the challenge. I usually go longer, but the idea is just to get started.

11 Day color challenge Day 1

 I experimented with stencils and watercolor for the new 11-Day Coloring Challenge by Kathy #dailymarker30day Nov. 11-22.  I took several stencils and traced some areas onto my watercolor paper. Didn't have a lot of time last night, so just added a bit of blue so far. It's fun just going with the flow and starting something...not knowing how it will progress over the next few days.
